Jo Bamford CBE is the founder and Executive Chairman of Ryze, responsible for the strategic direction and oversight of the business.
He is a board member of one of the U.K.’s largest industrial conglomerates, JCB Ltd and spent eight years as Managing Director of JCB Utility Products. Jo is a clean energy enthusiast and is driven to grow the hydrogen economy, starting with transport.
Chief Financial Officer
While Matthew Wethey’s financial acumen has led to C-suite positions across a host of businesses, he’s as strong at building teams as he is balancing the books.
“For me it’s all about discipline,” he says. “Bringing in the right governance, the right processes and the right ways of working so the management team has full confidence in the numbers.
“Of course, you can’t have this without the right people, so team culture is incredibly important to me and I’m proud of the teams I’ve helped to build during my career so far.”
As CFO at Ryze Power Group, Matthew is focused on advancing the company’s mission in the hydrogen and alternative fuels industry, having previously provided strong financial support to firms including Unipart, British American Tobacco, Cosine UK, PV Crystalox Solar and EnSilica.
